‘Skull’
Progressed from
Hertford Regional College — TAP
Statement
My final project is a painting of a skull. One half of the skull is painted red and the other half is painted blue. This is because I wanted to show emotion through colour, and different colours represent different emotions. Using a skull allowed me to do this because, despite being a human form, it doesn’t have a face that shows an expression or emotion therefor it can be interpreted differently depending on the person.

‘Imaginary Landscapes’
Progressed from
Sele School — GCSE
Statement
My work focuses on imaginary landscapes of towns, cities and sunsets. Most of my work shows sunsets as it was my favourite theme to go with for a landscape piece. Sunsets to me are very beautiful and they inspire me. To me they make me happy when I look at them. I drew, used water colours and painted on a canvas of landscapes of sunsets. I wanted to show the different colours in a sunset and mainly focus on the sky.
