Statement

Harlem Is a place in Brooklyn that back in the Day was an area with a high crime rate but currently is an area of community and my family’s home. This sense of community is also encapsulated in wolves traveling in packs and working and hunting together in packs. Street art and Tagging are similar if not identical to a wolf marking its territory. This Window display makes use of street art, tag signs and the architecture of Brooklyn and emulates the feeling and use of slogans. There is modern and edgy high-end street fashion displayed to fit the setting.

Statement

The most effective parts of my work that I created is a range of photos all designed differently using a different technique. Throughout this project I have learnt quite a lot as I know how to create a Poster to promote my own even; one that will grab people’s attention, making them want to find out more about the event make them want to come, so they don’t miss out!

‘Summer Fun 2021 – Garden BBQ – Dreaming of the Beach!’

Progressed from

Statement

My ideas for my print were to do shells as I thought they would look really cool on a piece of clothing or a towel or something like that. And it relates to my theme which is a BBQ but this would be on a beach. I made an instore graphics poster and logo to go with the theme using the Canva App and my screen print.

‘Summer Fun 2021 – Wine and Dine’

Statement

I wanted to design my display as a posh restaurant that is bright with colours and that has modern and stylish furniture inside, to remind people of how they used to enjoy eating out before the covid restrictions. My design is to encourage fine dining at home and dressing up for the occasion! The models suited my scenery inside because they complimented the restaurant theme, which was for fashionable, elegant and classy customers. I created instore graphics to support the theme and added the slogan to the window display for impact.

Statement

Dreaming of the beach gave me a sense of being relaxed and a relaxed lifestyle.

The colour pallet for this display design is mainly really light and Mediterranean bright, almost light pastel and white colours.

Being right by the beach is tapping into people’s dreams as they can escape whenever they like and do whatever whenever. I made an instore graphics poster to go with the theme using the Canva App and my screen print.
