Statement
Within my window display depicting of Mayhem, I have attempted to encapsulate the chaotic energy of fun and adventure combined with the hazardous danger of the big, bad polar bear. Many people find the risk of danger fun so, incorporating the bear to add to the concept of mayhem was a good idea. I studied any future, modern trends to help promote trending ideas and have an up-to-date, trending window display.

Statement
For my Final Major Project, I have designed a window display to go in the front windows of a book shop, promoting books that link to self-development, law of attraction and mindset. The reason I have used tyres in my window is because they link to the theme of ‘Journey’. The tyres signify moving forward from the past and looking into your future, what you can achieve now you’ve let go of your old self, what you used to be etc. I have used the trend of bringing nature indoors, by bringing flowers into my display along with sand. The colour of the flowers all links to different emotions and link to the interests of my target audience, the flowers also contrast with the black of the tyres and sand making them stand out more. I have created a feeling of calmness and zen however also including the wow factor amongst my display.

Statement
This final project is a deconstruction of a Coca Cola bottle in an abstract form to appease the modern consumer. It also references Andy Warhol’s classic advertisement for Coca Cola and demonstrates my takes and views within it. I concentrated on colour to represent different forms and styles to work and complement each other therefore drawing more attention to the window.
Concentrating on colour helped me to design and focus on the distribution of different styles of Coca Cola bottles. The history of Coca Cola led me to design these bottles & represent my feelings on how Coca Cola started amid backlash on its history and what it has become now. Working with the brand was a key point because of how many people recognise the logo alone and gave me the freedom to experiment with different formats but still have the focal point of the Coca Cola logo that is recognisable by anyone and everyone, no matter their background.

‘Identity Through The Window’
Progressed from

Statement
I created my window using the theme of ‘Identity’. I achieved this by using a mirror in an Instagram post template, which shows that no matter who you are or how you feel about yourself that you are worthy. Focusing on body positivity #everybodymatters is a campaign to make everyone feel included. I also incorporated a comments box alows people to get speak about their own battles with social media and the negative effects it can create and to also leave their feedback. I have used leaves to create a natural theme combined with a natural background to achieve the idea that natural beauty is important

‘King of Thieves’

Statement
King of Thieves inspired by the 2018 heist film conveys the thieving magpie from the popular belief that magpie’s love to steal shiny jewels. The idea was shaped from the bird of death when themes were of ‘Dark Fantasy’. Detouring from that concept and letting the design focus around the product I was able to create an understandable design. The design is then combined with a work-in-progress aesthetic using found objects and recyclable materials to explore the possibility of what we can make if we look outside which is unorthodox.

My window display demonstrates my approach to the theme ‘Journey’. I have created a sub theme of vacation based at the beach.I have used merchandise and items that relate to the beach mostly such as sunglasses, ice creams and sun cream. I have been influenced by Andy Warhol’s use of bold colours that link to SS22 colour trends to produce the props for my promotional window.

Statement
This design is inspired by Liberty with the focus of Homeware; incorporating colour and interior trends to capture how Liberty would represent their products in store. Using recycled materials, beiges, golds and whites which encapsulate the Boho ‘vibe’. Mixing this with the hessian flooring bringing everything together, as if the structure is growing from sand. Having the pop of gold along the structure adds to the eye-catching effect. An overall appearance which is formal and professional which is what Liberty is known for.
