‘Does Colour Influence a Person’s Perspective?’
Trinity Catholic High School — A-levels
Throughout this work I studied the theory of colour in art, discovering how much of an influence the concept of colour has on our thoughts and feelings. This piece consists of a series of prints, split into a clear divide by the colour combinations. The work focuses on the difference in feelings and emotions portrayed through warm and cool colours. This has been created using many processes and materials: the lino-prints are based onto marbled backgrounds and developed over with stitching and pens in order to display the colour.
