‘Guitar Sound Visuals’’

Progressed from

Presdales School — A-Levels

For my project I wanted to display a visual representation of how music sounds. For my final piece I conveyed music produced by my guitar through the use of patterns and colour surrounding the guitar. I captured the rhythm and movement of music through the use of swirly lines and patterns. The vibrant spheres add sudden splashes of colour representing the changes of chords and notes. I also incorporated vibrant striking colours to convey the vibrancy and energy of music. I used bold acrylic paint and watercolour. In order for the piece to have a greater impact I produced it on a large scale 91.4cmx61cm Stretched Canvas.
